Our $10 double stroller

I love to shop the classified ads on! I have bought so much from off of ksl it's getting a bit ridiculous. I bought my car after my mission, our townhome after we got married, our awesome futon (only $10), tons for free clothes for Sadie, a kitchen side counter thingy (also free), Sarah's tummy time mat and Bumbo and now this double stroller for only $10! It's obviously old but it works just great! Today we took it out on it's maiden voyage and Sadie couldn't have been happier about it. She actually cries when I put it away. You'd almost think that was's not...but that's how much she loves it.

I did it!

So this is how it feels to set a goal and actually achieve it?! Huh, feels pretty good. I guess I'm just not a goal setter but after this...I might just become one. :)
I really am giving myself one big pat on the back for this one. I haven't touched a sewing machine since Jr. High and I actually made something cute and crafty for my girls! My mom did help get the machine ready for me and helped me figure things out when I messed something up but for the most part this cute hooded towel is a creation of my own two hands. Sadie wouldn't just smile for the camera so this pic will have to do for now. :)

A rose from Daddy

I guess I'm a little late but Sadie looked so pretty on Valentines day. She's holding the rose her daddy gave her. She loved to smell it and was dancing with it in the front yard. I think we all have spring fever!

I'm going to get crafty!

So to be accountable to someone I'm telling all of you about the cute hooded towels I'm going to make for my girls. My friend Julie shared a fun blog with me and the stuff this lady does is so cute and she makes it look so easy. So here it is I'm giving myself 3 weeks to get it done. I'll be sure to share pictures of my girls enjoying their Mommy's first creation of creativity. Wish my luck!
