This you have to see!!!

So the lighting on this is horrible cause the the blinds on the window were wide open. Sadie actually looks like she's glowing but she's still cute! She really just wants to walk already! She has been pulling herself up on stuff for about two weeks now and she's been perfecting it since she figured it out. Pretty sure she'll be an early walker. She hasn't quite figured out the whole crawling thing yet but she sure wants to walk! We're doing our best to encourage crawling first but this little lady is determined and is only happy when she's standing up. Hope you enjoy this fun little video of our growing Sadie.

This is the family picture that went out in our Christmas cards. We really only sent out a very small number of them. So you really shouldn't feel bad if you didn't get one. The only excuse I have is that I ran out of time. That, coupled with the fact that you should already know how bad I procrastinate, should be enough of an excuse really. All I can do is promise to do better next year. That could mean that you can expect a "Happy New Year" card but don't hold your breath. :) We sure hope you all had a very merry Christmas!!!

My wonderful cousin Tricia took these pictures for us! There are lots of good ones and I just wanted to share a few real quick. I'm excited to send out our first official family Christmas cards with a family picture. :) I guess I better get on that!

Two years goes by so fast when you're having fun!

Happy 2nd Anniversary to us!!! Two years together has taken us from our little basement appartment in West Jordan to our new townhome in American Fork, which we bought in June of 2007. We have welcomed our adorable sweet little Sadie to our family and life just couldn't be better. (Oh! And Sadie is 7 months old today!)
I want the world to know how much I love my amazing husband! He is a wonderful daddy and takes such good care of Sadie and I. He's my bestfriend and I'm so thankful to be his wife. I love you Love!!!

Coming soon...

We just had my cousin Tricia take family pictures of us yesterday and I thought I would share the sneak peek she posted on her blog. Go to www.triciabagleyphotography.blogspot.com She did a great job and I can't wait to see the rest! Thanks SO much Tricia!

Twilight the movie!

So all I really ever take the time to blog about is Sadie but I thought I would mention real quick that I'm really excited to see the Twilight movie tomorrow night! That's right, I'm going with a big group of girls to see it at 12:15 Friday morning. Which to me is still Thursday night really. I can't remember if I've ever done this before but it should be pretty fun. We're even going to make fun t-shirts to where. Just a little silly fun. I am worried that Sadie is going to be a nightmare for Daric to put to bed since she's used to me nursing her to sleep but he's a good daddy and I'm praying hard that she'll be good for him. :)

Sadie in the saddle

My mission President had a little open house for his 60th birthday last Thursday and this was taken there.
Looks like Sadie is going to like riding horses some day. Or maybe she'll just really like the pretend ones you only have to put a quarter in. We'll stick with those ones, they're much less expensive to ride! :)

A little late on the post...

Halloween was pretty much uneventful for us but we did dress Sadie up to show her off. I know these are super late but I just had to share them. Isn't she the cutest?!

Pumpkins and Sadiekins!

We're in trouble!

Sadie rolled over for the first time today and I totally missed out on the moment! I was in the kitchen where I nanny and I had left her lying on her back in the living room for a few minutes. I look over the high counter into the living room and she's lying happily on her belly holding herself up. I asked Casey (the 5 year old that I watch) if he put her like that cause he has been known to prop her up for tummy time before. He says he didn't but I didn't believe him at first. He insisted that he was over on the couch watching his show. My little girl rolled over and I missed it! I called Daric to tell him about the exciting event we both missed. Once I hung up I put her on her back again and sure enough she rolls right over like it's no big deal! I got the third one on camera!!!

Pictures as promised!

Vegas road trip!

Sadie had a lot of firsts this past weekend and I've been so excited to blog about it. I was waiting for the pictures to be uploaded to the computer but I can't wait any more or I'll forget everything I wanted to tell about. So the pics will come shortly...

She had her first road trip, her first boating exprience, wore her first life jacket, her first time playing in sand...

We left super early on Friday morning with my mom and Jeff's girlfriend Dayna. (Jeff having a cute, extremely Mormon girl for a girlfriend is a completely different post in and of it's self but we're not supposed to talk about Jeff, he hates that.) Sadie normally doesn't wake up until about 9:00 or 10:00 but the excitement of having Grandma there to pick us up so early woke her up. No worries, she was a complete angel. She was an angel the entire drive there with only short bouts of fussiness and who would blame her? We all need to stretch our legs and get something to eat.

Saturday we went boating. I thought we'd have a few people stay on the shore and just trade off being with the little ones and getting to do a little boating so that Sadie wouldn't have to be on boat at all. Wrong! Lake Mead doesn't have a "shore" unless you boat in about 20 or 30 minutes and find a little strip of sand so Sadie HAD to come on the boat. We got her an infant life jacket, well Grandma got it for her actually. I thought she's hate wearing it and cry and scream the entire time. Wrong again! She was an ANGEL!!! Even with the noise and bumpiness of the boat, the crazy wind and her annoying bulky life jacket she was just happy to be there! I finally put a towel over both our heads to shield her from the wind and she fell asleep!
She had so much fun playing in the sand with Grandma and cousin Rachel. I got to jump in the lake which is something I missed out on at girls camp...another story. I even got to wake board!

I could go on and on about how good Sadie was! We had such a fun trip and she was such an angel. I guess this trip taught me that I need to stop being so surprised about Sadie's good nature. She's such a happy baby and we're so blessed to have her in our family! We love our baby girl so much!

Sadie has been enjoying rice cereal for a few weeks now and we've just started her on baby bananas.
What a big girl she's becoming! Hope you enjoy these cute pics. :)

wet Sadie!

I just LOVE the look on her face!
Our little lady will be 5 months on the 8th!
Time just flies by when you're loving a baby!

Conference weekend

This is one of my favorite times of year. If you've never heard me say that it's because I just decided this today. I love the changing colors on the trees, I love the crispness in the air, I love that it's hoody season again and I love looking forward to all the fun Holidays that are right around the corner. The thing I love the most though is Conference weekend. I love church in your pajamas! It's such a great blessing to listen to the Prophet and the General Authorities. I love feeling recharged and even getting that little bit of a rebuking by the spirit for not living the gospel as fully as I should be. I need a good push now and then and Conference always comes just when I need that push. The Lord's timing is truly perfect in everything! Hope you're all enjoying Conference as much as I am!

Stick out your tongue!

Finally some more pictures...

I'm a very slow blogger. Below you'll see the pictures from the Sunday Sadie was blessed. That was clear back on Aug. 31st. Time just flies by! We had lots of family there to support us and I'm so glad all who came were able to make it. Lots of family was missed but we won't hold it against any of them for not buying plane tickets to come out for it. :)

A special birthday wish!

She's so excited about your birthday that she's just all tuckered out! :) We love you and hope you have a great day!

I always have the camera turned the wrong way when I'm making a video! Thankfully on this one I realize it in time. I just love this dress on Sadie and she's almost grown out of it. She has so many cute little dresses and she's growing too fast! I had her is a dress every day for a whole week. And that means she has a lot of dresses considering she goes through a few each day.

I start my new job today in about 30 minutes! I'm really excited about the whole thing. It's been great to enjoy this morning with Sadie and not have to rush her off to a sitters. Speaking of the wonderful people in our lives who so willingly and lovingly watched Sadie for the two and a half months that I worked part time. I can't thank them enough!!! Sadie has quite the weekly schedule playing with different friends and family. Erin, the best friend a girl can have, had her Mondays and Fridays. Sadie will miss playing with her little guy Jack. My, too sweet for words, Aunt Cherie had her on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Spencer and Lillee did such a good job of keeping her entertained! I know she'll miss her days with them. And my Mom and Dad had her on Wednesdays. And of course she was coddled and spoiled at Grandma and Grandpas house. A huge shout out of thanks to my wonderful friends and family!!! Love you guys! Thanks a ton for all the hours you spent loving Sadie while I was at work!!! I still owe ya big time so let us know when we can watch your little guys. We'll have to pay Mom and Dad back some other way. :)

A new job!

Update...I got the job! I met Tiffany on Thursday night and I knew right off it was going to wok out to be the perfect situation. We talked for a good hour and 20 minutes. I can't say how excited I am. It felt so great to put in my two weeks notice at work on Friday. Sadie is excited too, she just doesn't know it yet. I'll be working about 28 hours a week, Monday through Thursday. The boys I'll be watching. KC (alomst 5) and Tommy (2), are really cute. This job really is such a blessing, I'm so thankful for Heavenly Father's perfect timing!

Finally a minute to write...

Sadie is just so much fun it's hard to tear myself away long enough to post let alone type something up. Maybe that's because I'm still working part time so I have to make up for the 4+ hours I miss out on while I'm away. I'm actually might start watching two kids Monday - Thursday so that I can quit my part time job and be with Sadie all the time. I'm meeting with a lady tomorrow night who has two boys, ages 2 and 5, so we'll see how that goes. I guess I just committed myself to post again cause I'll have to update ya on what happened. If any of you have thoughts or advice on the whole nanny thing it's more than welcome. I've tried to weigh the pros and cons of the situation but the biggest "pro" of being able to be a mommy 24-7 out weighs any of my hesitance in leaving a big corporation that will pay me for sick days and such. You have to take the bad, well it isn't bad really we'll call it the "not so good" and deal with it if you're going to do what is right, what is best.
I'm pretty much just rambling on now and I'm not sure that this will be of interest to anyone who reads it but you could have stopped reading when you got bored...but no, here you are just reading along hoping I'll say something more interesting.
Oh! I've got something! Sadie had rice cereal for the first time tonight! She wasn't too thrilled but we sure got it all on camera. :) She's also starting to scoot on her back a little. I laid her down on one of those activity mats and left the room for a couple of minutes and when I came back she was almost off the mat and her little body was turned pointing almost to ten o'clock instead of the 12 o'clock position I had left her in. I can't believe she'll be 16 weeks old tomorrow! They really do grow too fast!

You lookin' at me?!

This was a couple of weeks ago but it's such a cute shot I had to share it. I can't believe our little angel will be 12 weeks old this week! She is the light of our lives and it's amazing to watch her grow every day. She is such a good baby. She litteraly wakes us up each morning with smiles and giggles.

All Smiles!

So this picture is a bit blurry but I can't resist sharing Sadies big smiles with everyone. She is becoming more and more responsive every day! Her Grandma Teri got the first "real" smiles out of here on June 9th while we were having lunch at the Training Table. At first I was thinking Grandma had a magic touch cause we were still having to work so hard to get a smile out of her but we've been enjoying tons of "real" big smiles these past two days and she just gets cuter with each one.

7 Weeks Old!!!

\
I can't believe how fast our little Sadie is growing! I'm sure she's a full 8 pounds by now and here she is in her pretty little dress that her aunt Jamie gave her. I didn't think she'd be big enough for it for a few more weeks but I tried it on her on Thursday and it fits perfectly! She's very excited to show it off at church on Sunday!

Sleepy Sadie

This is an older picture but I'm waiting for Daric to put all the new pictures on the computer...he's shown me how to do it like 5 times and I'm still not sure I'd get it right. :)
Sadie has gotten so big! We haven't weighed her in about two weeks so I'm excited to see just how much she has gained. Last I checked she was 6 pounds and 10 ounces, I'm sure she's over 7 pounds now! She's doing really well. She's even sleeping well lately. She's such an angel, I can't believe how blessed we are to have her in our family.

Nicole and Sadie!

Nicole, one of my maimaids, stopped by the other night with some friends and it gave us yet another chance to show off our sweet little Sadie. Now Nicole said she'd never held a baby before but somehow I don't believe her cause she's a natural. I love my young women!

Bath Time!!!

Sadie does pretty well durning bath time, she just doesn't enjoying having her hair washed very much but even at that she doesn't protest too loudly. :)
Isn't she cute?!!!
